6 well equipped holiday cottages in private woodland and fields, near Woolacombe, North Devon.

The appeal to our repeat guests is our relaxing location - woodland walks, wildlife on our pond, sheep in the fields and only a 10 minute drive from our stunning North Devon beaches.

We hope that the cottages will have everything that you need for a week away from home. We will give you a friendly welcome and are nearby should you need us, but we hope that you will just wind down and enjoy our beautiful valley.

We welcome dogs in most of our properties.

Fuchsia and Azalea,

are both good for slightly larger groups, families or just those guests that want to spread out a little more. These bungalows are detached, single level and sleep 5.

Fuchsia, Number 1, is at the bottom of the slope with the lounge window looking to the hedge, so is slightly more private where Azalea, Number 6 is at the top of the slope, slightly set back and with the better views across the site and valley beyound.

Azalea has recently been changed to have 2 double beds (and 2 singles) where Fuchsia still has the twin room.

Hibiscus, Camellia, Begonia and Clematis,

our other 4 bungalows, are semi detached and sleep 4 per property with only slight differences between them :

Clematis, Number 5 Spreacombe Gardens is kept completely pet free as some of our guests prefer this.

Camellia, Number 3 Spreacombe Gardens has a lower entrance step - we generally advise our less able guests to take this property.

In General

All of our 6 cottages are very similar in design and furnishings .

All cottages have WiFi and parking by their main entrance door. Each have a TV / DVD player and ample storage for your food and clothes.

There is a shared laundry room housing 2 washing machines and a tumble drier. The outside tap is attached to the laundry room with hose for your surfboard or bike.

Why Spreacombe?

Guests slow down relax and enjoy seeing our peacock, hares or maybe deer, often not far from the cottages.

Many of our guests return to Spreacombe year after year. They generally appreciate our quiet, relaxing surroundings and enjoy the proximity to the stunning cliff walks, long sandy beaches and Exmoor National Park. We are pleased so many old friends return and love it when they comment on changes to our pond or new wildlife that they have spotted.

It is difficult to avoid the lure of the many country pubs and rarely go home without sampling at least one Devon cream tea.

In school holidays families or friends have taken more than one property to allow a group holiday but at the same time allowing independence and privacy. In the summer there are often ball or frisbee games on the large lawn.
