One of the pleasures of Spreacombe are the varied walks on your doorstep. For the gentle pre dinner stroll we would suggest wandering up our stony road that splits the woodland. In the Spring this area is awash with primroses, daffoldils and bluebells.
Slightly farther, (10 minute walk one way) but definitely worth the effort is the RSPB Chapel Wood ; we have our own entrance from Mill Meadow. The remains of the Chapel, preserved by the RSPB, can be seen on the left hand side as you enter the wood. Go through the small gate to the right, there is a lovely walk all around the wood, although beware there many steps to the top.
